First Seen: Episode 3, DiGi Charat TV Series

      Minagawa appears in the third episode of the DiGi Charat TV series. A shy young boy who gets scared really easily, he goes to Gamers to buy a set of collectible cards -- but he's terrified to actually set foot into the store, due to the chaos inside. He's a little intimidated by Dejiko and Puchiko -- Dejiko has a tendency to "protect" the store from customers who are only window shopping (and by "protect", I mean shooting the offending customer with her laser eye beams), and poor Minagawa had just witnessed a group of window shoppers being blown up. Puchiko, though she didn't really do anything weird outright, was strangely unnerving when she asked Minagawa if he was coming inside the store. Gamers was a strange and terrifying place to Minagawa, but eventually, he did come inside.

      Fortunately for Minagawa, he meets Rabi~en~Rose -- who seemed to have one of her rabbit ears stuck in a bookshelf. Minagawa's thrilled to meet another "normal" person, and one the same age (both are fourteen). He notices that Rabi~en~Rose is a store worker, and can't figure out why she wears the dice in her hair. As the series progress, Minagawa starts to like Rabi~en~Rose even more, and eventually assumes the role of Rabi~en~Rose's token fanboy. What's different about Rabi's fanboy, is that over time, they actually become friends (since during the Hanami series, they attend the same school). He still worships the ground that Rabi walks on, of course. But it's not the same as when Dejiko or Puchiko constantly ignore or put down their own fanboys. ^^;;

      You'll note that he's one of the few characters who actually resembles a real person (and not a walking finger). Minagawa also has an uncanny habit of picking up food that's been lying on the road and eating it. During one episode, Minegawa picks up food off the road, which leads to him getting a serious case of diahhrea. Luckily, Rabi~en~Rose is nearby, and gives him something for his stomach. He is careful to never call Rabi~en~Rose by her real name -- though Dejiko thinks he's just another weird fanboy who hangs around the store. His other hidden talent seems to be exorcising demons, since he also exorcised the clam spirit that possessed Dejiko. And for some odd reason, Minagawa has an obsession with food -- particularly melon bread...
